Residential Applications

In new construction KRONA Insulation may be installed on the top chord of the roof trusses prior to the application of the roof sheathing.
For renovations, KRONA Insulation may be fastened to the underside of the top chord of the roof trusses or joists. A gap is left at the peak to allow air flow between the KRONA and the roof sheathing.
In new home construction and renovations, KRONA Insulation can be installed on the interior of the walls and ceiling. Seal the joints with aluminum tape to use KRONA Insulation as an air/vapor barrier.
KRONA Insulation may be applied on the exterior of the wall sheathing for both new and retrofit construction.
KRONA Insulation may be installed on the exterior face of the foundation walls. This application applies to both new and retrofit construction.
For retrofit construction, KRONA Insulation can be installed between the carpet and the basement floor slab.
For new home construction, KRONA Insulation may be installed below the basement floor slab.
